Dear Friends and Root Beer lovers,

Yes, it has been a long time since SPARKY'S last newsletter. We have many new people on the SPARKY'S newsletter list so if you don't tell them, they won't know just how long it has been.

We have so many new things going on I don't know where to start.. We have our very own web page now if you didn't already know. It is www.SparkysRootbeer.com and it is looking good. We are still working on some details so bear with us.

The biggest news is that SPARKY'S is in bottles now. Starting in April 1st of this year, we worked out a deal with The Coast Range Brewing Co. in Gilroy, Ca.  SPARKY'S is kettle brewed in there brew kettle and bottled on there bottling line. It worked out really well. We are using a 22oz. amber long neck bottle. It's sort of big for some people but I found that a 12 oz. bottle of such good root beer just aint enough!

Local artist, Dan Koffman did the new logo for our labels and we can't thank him enough for his talent and help.

If you have a look on our web page you can find a list of most of the stores and restaurants in Monterey and Santa Cruz area that carry SPARKY'S. If you know of any place that you think should carry SPARK'S , let us know and we will see what we can do. As for areas outside of Monterey and Santa Cruz counties, we are working with a distributor, REAL SODA. You can check out Realsoda.com. We are pleased to be able to do business with such fine professionals and all around good folks.

If you want to order SPARKY'S over the Internet you can do that now too. Sodaking.com or Popsoda.com. Popsoda is currently featuring us and described SPARKY'S as probably the best root beer in the world if you like it with a bite. Is that cool or what? Of course, we have always said that SPARKY'S is the best root beer in the whole universe.

Don't want to get to long with the newsletter, don't want to lose you all, but we have some catching p to do. This summer we have cut back on some of the events and are spending time out selling the new bottles. A new event we will be doing this year is the Oktoberfest in Seattle. Bit of a drive but Seattle is a big root beer city and we plan on making a lot of friends. The Oktoberfest is in September on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd. If you are in the area, stop on by.

Do look for SPARKY'S and ask for it at your favorite place if you don't see it. We just want to spread the good taste around
